- get to know me better -
jiwan grew up in a household that was never about love. his parents were married under an arrangement between two families only for the money. love had never blossomed between the two, they had mostly just been indifferent with each other. it was after a drunken night that jiwan was conceived, and to appease their own parents, they decided to keep the child. so, jiwan was born. however, jiwan being born only caused more of a strain in their marriage. now having to take care of a child neither truly wanted, it added an extra layer of stress to their lives, which made their indifference of each other turn into a hatred.it became normal for screaming to be heard in the household, even when jiwan was a baby. he'd always cry when he was younger, almost hoping that his tears would get them to stop. it never did though, and slowly jiwan lost tears to cry, becoming more and more indifferent to it instead. it boiled to a point where it would just annoy him, and he would usually listen to music to drown them out.things got worse, however, when he became a preteen. his parents began to not only take their anger out on each other but also out on him. they would punish him for things he didn't do, make up a rule they never had just to take it out on him. he was grounded more times than not, his phone spending more time in their bedside drawer than on him.his one escape had been music, but having no outlet to listen to music, he had found himself looking for other ways to have music in his life without needing technology. he had found a cajon on sale at his local music store, and after a worker taught him how it worked, he used his parents credit card to purchase it. he hadn't expected to enjoy playing the instrument as much as he did, to the point where he grew interest in drumming. the worker at the music store had basically became his mentor, teaching him how to play the drums. he had caught on pretty quickly, and it wasn't long until he had begged his grandparents for a drumkit for christmas. his own parents had been very against the idea, but his grandparents had always given the boy whatever he asked for, and ever since then he had been playing the drums.during his last years of high school, he had formed many different bands with different people, most of them falling through almost immediately. he wouldn't find a solid band until right after high school where he found an ad for a band looking for a drummer. he had shown up and performed one gig with them and they accepted him into the band full time.it was after joining the band that he had began to discover the nightlife that came with being in a band. the drinks, the drugs, the parties, he had participated in it all. he moved out of his parents house and into a busted apartment, attempting to completely cut all ties with his family and make a living on his own. the gigs did give him money, but it was never enough to cover his rent all the time. so, he had to start working at whatever jobs he could find. he had been fired from a few of them, mixtures of no call and no showing or just showing up hungover or high as a kite. his current job was a cashier at a convenience store, but he wouldn't hold his breath on keeping his job.

you had went and seen jiwan's band at a venue they were playing at and were wowed by jiwan on the drums. what you didn't expect was to see him behind the register at the convenience store the next morning.
notes :: pretty simple concept, can be further discussed and expanded!after hours any age. any gender. closed
jiwan has just finished a gig and had gone out drinking with his bandmates. hours later, he was kicked out of the pub, his bandmates were nowhere to be found, and he was drunk enough to be stumbling down the streets. you happen to spot him in this state and somehow end up helping him
notes :: thinking it's either helping him out of genuine concern or he's just annoying enough that you feel obligated just to get him to go awayPlot Name age. gender. genre status
